Children's Mental Health Week 3-9 February

It's Children's Mental Health week. The theme for 2025 is Know Yourself, Grow Yourself, with the aim to equip and empower children and young people across the UK to embrace self-awareness and explore what it means to them.

Organised by leading mental health charity Place2Be, Children’s Mental Health Week encourages open conversations about mental health, providing resources and tools to help children, parents, and educators navigate the challenges young people face today. With mental health concerns among children on the rise, this annual campaign serves as a vital reminder of the need to prioritise emotional wellbeing from an early age.

We know that 1 in 6 children aged 5-16 in the UK are likely to experience a mental health problem, with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues being among the most common challenges. Early intervention and open dialogue can make a profound difference, helping children develop the skills they need to thrive emotionally and socially.
